With a mission to provide students a rigorous college and career preparatory academic curriculum, American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) and Foxcroft Academy have developed a cross border international high school program designed to educate students to be internationally competitive, and to allow students to explore diverse educational and scholastic opportunities. 

AUPP High School’s U.S. affiliate, Foxcroft Academy, is part of an almost two hundred year long standing tradition of excellence. It was established as a private secondary school on January 30, 1823, becoming the first school to be chartered after Maine became a U.S state.  

AUPP High Schools affiliation with Foxcroft Academy provides a great opportunity for its students to study abroad. 

AUPP High School-Foxcroft Academy offers core classes in English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, World Languages and Art. It also offers additional STEAM elective courses. 

Besides being part of a program with exceptional standards, students can fully experience a highly supportive community of teachers. Classes at AUPP HS are taught by a highly qualified professional faculty that include university professors from AUPP, notably in STEAM. All AUPP HS teachers have a bachelor’s degree and most have advanced degrees.   

Students enrolled in the AUPP High School-FA program can obtain an international high school diploma upon their graduation. The National High School Leaving Exam is waived/not required. 

Upon graduation from AUPP High School, students will be automatically admitted to the American University of Phnom Penh  (AUPP). They may also apply to universities and colleges in the U.S., or other countries where the Foxcroft Academy diploma is recognized. 

AUPP High School Foxcroft Academy has an open enrollment policy that allows students entering grades 9 thru 11 to enroll through quarter 3 (March 11). Those wishing to enroll in Grade 12 will be allowed to do so through quarter 2 (Dec. 10). Exceptions to these dates may be made with the approval of administration. Transcripts from the student’s previous school are required.
